January 26, 2012 Cairo, 26 January 2012 – Mr. Raphaël Varga van Kibéd, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Egypt, Mr. Gamal El Araby, Minister of Education and Dr. Galal Moustafa Saeed, Minister of Transport, witnessed on Tuesday, 24 January, the signing of a cooperation agreement between the River Transport Authority (RTA), the Technical Education Sector of the Ministry of Education and the Rotterdam-based Shipping and Transport College (STC).

January 24, 2012 Dear members of the Dutch Egyptian business community, We have moved into 2012 leaving an agitated and exciting year behind us. This very day, the newly elected Parliament convened for the first time, against the backdrop of the first anniversary of the Egyptian revolution on 25 January. We hope to see a stabilizing and recovering Egypt in the year ahead. The Embassy will keep a close eye on the developments and assist Dutch companies and their partners as much as possible in their business ventures.
